Window Washing
We wash windows inside and out for offices, apartments, retail and other commercial buildings across the Twin Cities metro, from single story storefronts to buildings that need access equipment above the second floor.
Chapter 01
Low-rise, high-rise and the access question
A single story storefront and a mid-rise office building are not the same job. Below the second floor, most window washing is done from the ground or a ladder. Above that, the work needs the right access equipment and a careful approach to get every pane cleaned safely without working from an angle that leaves streaks along the edge.
We plan the access method around the building before we quote the job, not after. A building with awkward setbacks, a tight loading area or windows that only open from certain rooms changes how the work gets sequenced, and we account for that up front so the quote matches the job we actually do.

Glass, frame and sill are three different jobs
A window is not just the pane. The frame collects grime that never touches the glass, and the sill holds dust, dead insects and runoff that a glass-only clean leaves behind. A building that only gets its glass washed still looks tired, because the frame and sill were never part of the job.
We clean all three on every visit, glass, frame and sill, because a window that is only half cleaned reads as not cleaned at all from a few feet away. It is the difference between a window that looks washed and one that actually is.
Chapter 03
Hard water staining is not dirt
Spots that will not come off with a normal wash are usually mineral deposits left behind as hard water evaporates off the glass, not dirt sitting on the surface. Etched in deep enough, that mineral layer becomes part of the glass itself rather than something sitting on top of it.
Fresh hard water staining can usually be worked back out. Staining that has been etching into the glass for years, especially near sprinkler heads or under a leaking gutter, may not come fully clean no matter the method, and we will tell you honestly which situation you have before we quote a fix rather than after we have already tried.
Post-construction glass
Glass coming off a construction or renovation job usually carries adhesive film, paint flecks and a layer of dust and debris that a normal wash will not touch. Some of it needs scraping, and scraping coated or tinted glass without the right technique can damage the coating permanently.
We know which glass can be scraped safely and which needs a different approach, and we treat post-construction glass as its own job rather than a heavier version of routine window washing. That is also where this service meets our construction final cleaning work, often the same crew finishes both on the same site.
